28, profusely illus., DJ quite worn and soiled: large tears, large pieces missing This letter was written by a young R.A.F. pilot in a Bomber Squadron to his mother, to be sent only if he were killed. The bereaved mother gave her permission to publish the letter anonymously in The Times.
