This plan was based upon a preceding Nuclear Weapons Information Management Assessment report that was distributed in 1998. That Assessment report called for the production of this Strategic Plan. The Goals of the Strategic Plan were to: Preserve the Knowledge Base of the Nuclear Weapons Complex, Make the Knowledge Base of the Nuclear Weapons Complex Accessible, as appropriate, to the User, and Integrate Nuclear Weapons Information Life-Cycle Management Through the Nuclear Weapons Complex Business Activities.
