His education includes master's degree in international relations at George Washington University. Orrin Hatch, a Republican senator from Utah, has emerged as a true political maverick over the past twenty years. Sometimes veering from conservative causes, often fiercely defending them, Hatch has left many wondering what his true agenda is. One thing is not in dispute, however: he is fervently dedicated to fighting injustice wherever he perceives it. Hatch has led the charge against extremism from both the political left and right, against the swelling national debt, and against government attacks on the family. More

Paul Davis Ryan (born January 29, 1970) is an American politician who served as the 54th speaker of the United States House of Representatives from October 2015 to January 2019. He was also the 2012 vice presidential nominee of the Republican Party, running unsuccessfully alongside Mitt Romney. A self-proclaimed deficit hawk, Ryan was a major proponent of privatizing Social Security in the mid-2000s. In the 2010s, his proposals "The Path to Prosperity" and "A Better Way" advocated for the privatization of Medicare, block granting of Medicaid, repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and significant tax cuts. Ryan's tenure as Speaker of the House--most of which coincided with a period of unified Republican control of the federal government--saw a massive increase in government spending and deficits. Ryan declined to run for re-election in the 2018 midterm elections. More
New York: Hawthorn Books, Inc., 1972. First Printing [Stated]. Hardcover. 29 cm, 128 pages. Profusely illustrated (many in color). Picture Index. Text by William Safire and art direction by Byron Schumaker. Eye On Nixon is not meant to be a photographic history of the Nixon Administration; nor is it an effort to show everything President Richard Nixon has done or everywhere he has been. Julie Nixon Eisenhower presents a vivid picture of her father as a man—doing his job as President, but more than that, being the kind of man she knew him to be—kind, thoughtful, shy, direct, humorous. There definitely is a sense of buoyancy, a feeling of hope, an assurance that "tomorrow will be better" that runs deep in my father's personality. It is this sense of joy of living and confidence that I have tried to capture through photographs. What my father calls "the life of a driving dream" is good for a person, it is good for a family, and I like to think it is good for a country. More
