Julius Karash is a graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism with extensive daily newspaper reporting experience, including at the Kansas City Star and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He co-authored of TWA: Kansas City's Hometown Airline. His current work includes writing news releases, newsletters, white papers and magazine articles. I also help clients place articles and columns in publications and on Web sites. His reporting was the Society of Business Editors and Writers, when it recognized the Kansas City Star business desk for general excellence in the 2008 Best in Business competition. Rick Montgomery was a national correspondent for the Kansas City Star who joined that newspaper in 1986.

LaGuardia and the Making of Modern New York (1989); and The Golden Door (1977), a study of immigrant life and economic mobility in New York City. Kessner’s work has garnered awards and fellowships from the Rockefeller Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the American Council of Learned Societies. He has served as a consultant to the Ellis Island Museum, the New-York Historical Society, the Museum of the City of New York, and many other scholarly and professional institutions.
