May 4, 2000 to October 21, 2001. The "Sugihara Rescue" of 2,100 Jews in 1940 is detailed here, retracing the unlikely humanitarian alliance between the Netherlands and Japan and the subsequent trans-Siberian journey that saved this fortunate group of Jews.
