Presentation copy signed by the author. The author was apparently in the publishing business and made this trip with another publisher, John Hanes, at the request of the Secretary of War. The travellers visited London, Paris, and several other sites, and obtained G.I. observations on numerous topics. Among the headings in the table of contents are: Scenes in Frankfurt, Russians in Berlin, Flying from Paris to Naples, Displaced Persons, and Terrible Conditions in Russian Held Territory. Condition: fair to good.
