The author devoted the greater part of his life to rebuilding the Fort and assembling the museum collection. He was the great-great-grandson of William Ferris Pell, who originally purchased the Fort and surrounding grounds in 1820. This is a reprint of the edition originally published in 1951. Condition: good.
