Kansas City, MO: Franklin Hudson Publishing, 1911. 254, fold-out map at rear, pencil underlining and notes on a few pages, binding cracked at p. 238, boards and spine discolored. Board corners worn, top and bottom edges of spine threadbare, name stamp onfront board, name stamp and ink name inside front board, typed "Revised schedule for Battle Orders or Operation Orders" pasted inside front flyleaf, library stamp on that schedule (only library marking). The author was a Captain with the 15th Bavarian Infantry; the translator was a Captain with the 5th Field Artillery, U.S.A. Topics covered include the offensive, the defensive, and retreat. Condition: fair, ex-lib.
