This is the Forty-Sixth Annual Drill and the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Washington High School Cadets. This volume was formerly owned by R. H. Slaughter. The Washington High School Cadets apparently were drawn from Eastern, Western, Central, McKinley, and Roosevelt High Schools. This publication was produced by the Collegiate Publishing Co., Baltimore, MD. This is a fascinating snapshot of military training and Washington, DC, high school education in the period between the wars. The Cadets were representated at the inauguration of Franklin Roosevelt. Condition: good.
