This is an internal Control Data Corporation evaluation by their Microcircuits Division of seven Soviet circuits that they had received the previous October. A primary internal conclusion was that CDC expected "the Soviet's semiconductor technology to follow an evolutionary course similar to that of Japan. " In the Conclusion section it states "The results of this investigation suggest that the Russians are capable of manufacturing complex integrated circuits....The workmanship of the Russian devices appears to be comparable to similar American made devices. " This report bears no proprietary notations. This kind of corporate technology analysis rarely surfaces in the marketplace. Condition: good.
