Selected parts of Lunar Orbiter photographs that illustrate some of the salient features of the lunar surface. The introduction describes the Orbiter project, the spacecraft and camera systems, and the lunar surface coverage of the five Orbiter missions flown from August 1966 to August 1967. Chapter 2 gives substanitally full, small-scale coverage of the lunar surface, and Chapter 3 gives salient lunar surface features in greater detail. The appendix contains four stereoscopic views of selected features; special glasses for the 3-D effect are in an envelope at the rear of the volume. Associated material laid in. Condition: good.
