The title comes from the practice of how a typesetter 'killed' garbled letters from a linotype. The practice was to strike all six letters in eadh of the two adjoining rows on his linotype keyboard--resulting in the letter string of etaoin shrdlu. This book marks the golden anniversary of the National Press Club. This venerable institution is about to reach its centenary, making this already scarce history and commemorative item even more of interest. Condition: good.
