Some staining and discoloration to several pages at rear. Scribner's "A" on verso. At the time of the crisis in the Normandy battles, the crisis of conspiracy was evolving in Germany. This was the first detailed narrative of the 1944 Bomb Plot written by a German. The author was on the German Army Staff in the West when it occurred. He had been given a "hint" of what was planned in May of 1944. While he was at Rommel's HQ on the 21stJuly he learned further details. The author was a Senior War Reporter on the staffs of the Army Groups commanded by two of the Generals. Condition: fair, fair.
