Sergei Petrovich Melgunov was a Russian historian, publicist, and politician best known for his opposition to the Soviet government and for his numerous works on the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the Russian Civil War. Arrested and sentenced to death by the Soviet government in 1919, he then was reprieved with his sentence commuted to imprisonment. Hewas released in 1921 and forced into exile in 1922. Condition: good.
