Nixon), as well as the Inaugural Badges of 1893 (Grover Cleveland) and 1897 (William McKinley) which were the forerunners of the Inaugural Medals. Theodore Roosevelt was the only President who has been honored with two official Inaugural Medals for a single inauguration. This unique occurrence arose when Roosevelt madea special request for an Inaugural Medal designed by the country's foremostsculptor, Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Condition: very good.
