This work surveys the problem of unwanted waste products from the atomic energy industry. It gives information on the basic data on which the safe limits for discharge are established and describes the methods which have beenused successfully up to the time of publication. It also commented upon the problems likely to arise after 1958 and the means for addressing them. The two authors were from the Windscale plant of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. The book was written for the general reader interested in the future of atomic energy as well as those actually engaged in the handling of radioactive materials. Condition: Good in good dust jacket.
