The original cookbook was donated to the Fort Davis National Historic Site in 1968, it has been in the possion of George Griersion the youngest of the author's children. The original work contained approximately 600 recipies, only a portion of which are included in the present work. National Park Service wives and their friends tested over one hundred recipies and noted the preparation procedures. In this edition Mrs. Grierson's recipe is printed first, and underneath the modern adaptation and method of preparation is provided. Condition: Good. Sticker removed from title page leaving scuff.
