Avionics, Navigation and Naval Equipment-The Interim Report of Technical Working Group 4 of the Critical Technologies Project

Arlington, VA: Institute for Defense Analyses, Science and Technology Division, 1980. Review Draft. Copy 1 of 60 copies. Spiralbound. Various pagination (approximately 120). References. This is an extremely rare surviving copy of Cold War technology transfer and export control related assessment of militarily critical technologies. As draft material it was not to be referenced in any publication. The goal of the Technical Working Groups of the DoD/IDA Critical Technologies Project was to develop an initial list of militarily critical technologies (and certain goods) and the mechanisms through which such technologies might be effectively transferred. This interim report is based on two to three months of research. This report should be understood to be an intermediate and tentative work product. This report has not undergone a formal IDA review and therefore did not constitute an IDA statement of results or recommendations. Condition: Fair. Front page worn and partially separated from spiral binding.
