Revealing how the White House will be won in 2008, two of the country's most accomplished political reporters explain what separates the victors from the victims in the unforgiving environment of modern presidential campaigns. Mark Evan Halperin (born January 11, 1965) is co-managing editor of Bloomberg Politics and a senior political analyst for MSNBC and Bloomberg Television. Halperin is a co-host of MSNBC and Bloomberg's With All Due Respect, a political analysis show. John Harris had always been fascinated by Washington and politics, and set his sights on The Washington Post. He got there and it ended up being for more than 21 years. At the Post, he covered local politics, state politics in Virginia and national politics. From 1995 to 2001, I covered the Clinton White House. Later, he expanded on that reporting in a history of Bill Clinton's presidency, "The Survivor: Bill Clinton in the White House." He was also co-author, with his friend Mark Halperin of ABC News, of a book on presidential politics, "The Way to Win: Taking the White House in 2008." Condition: Very good. Minor edge soiling. / very good.
