Part I is the story of postwar operations of the Navy in the Pacific, including the surrender of the outlying Japanese garrisons, the Navy's share in the occupation of Japan proper, minesweeping approaches to Japanese ports, and Operation Magic Carpet for the return of armed forces to the United States. Part II is a list of all named ships of the U.S. Navy during World War II, together with their dimensions and armament; all types of landing, beaching, and other "lettered" craft; and types of aircraft used by the Navy during the war. Part III is a list of all important errata so far discovered in Volumes I-XIV. Part IV is a General Index to Volumes I-XIV. Condition: very good condition.
