Gianni Bisiach (born 7 May 1927) is an Italian journalist, television and radio writer and presenter, essayist, documentarist and screenwriter. Born in Gorizia, after getting his degree in Medicine Bisiach enrolled at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. In the mid-1950s he entered RAI as a collaborator of the news program TV 7. In the late 1970s he started working on radio, where he created the long-standing Radio Uno talk show Radio anch'io, which run between 1978-1992 and had a TV spin-off, still hosted by Bisiach. In his variegated career Bisiach also directed the documentary film I due Kennedy and a segment of the anthology film I misteri di Roma, and collaborated to some screenplays. He also wrote several books, notably the interview book Pertini racconta in collaboration with Sandro Pertini. On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. Fifty years have passed, but the details and back story of that illustrious murder, which marked the end of an era, are still shrouded in an aura of mystery. John F. Kennedy was the first Catholic president of the United States. As a young senator, along with his brother Bob, he had conducted a courageous Senate inquiry in Washington against the most fearsome gangsters of the time. Appointed president, JFK leads America toward the recognition of civil rights, the abolition of racial discrimination, the policy of aiding third world countries.
