Presumed First Edition, First printing thus. Playing Card. Format is approximately 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches. Corners are rounded. Face had a full color front facial image of Obama with the word VOTE at the top and the word Obama at the bottom. The reverse side has the image of Dick Cheney in a Joker's belled hat and neckpiece and the word Joker on the right and left side. Card shows some wear. Political playing cards were introduced in the 17th century providing entertainment by satirizing or deriding current events and leaders. Propaganda cards, Imperial decks, war cards and even educational card games all carry a message which relates to the politics of memory, the means by which events are remembered and recorded, the way history is written and passed on. Historical memory can be used to arouse emotional reactions. More
